Zhu Yongbin, a member of the Party Leadership Group of the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Zhejiang Province and the head of the construction industry management station, said that the steel structure industry in Zhejiang started relatively earlier than other regions in China, and its output value scale has been among the top in the country for many years. In 2018, the output value of the construction industry in Zhejiang Province was 2.88 trillion yuan, accounting for 12.2% of the national total; The added value is 309.9 billion yuan, accounting for 5.5% of the province's GDP; The output value of steel structure is 62.8 billion yuan, with an output of 6.22 million tons, accounting for more than 12% of the national output value of steel structure, and becoming the "pacesetter" of the national construction industry.
